The location was marvellous and brilliant - just a walk down to everywhere we wanted to go. Booked a double room with a view. We've been here for 1 night, the breakfast was nice hot and delicious with roasted coffee, veggie sausages, smoked salmon.

A little tired bathroom.

The room was perfectly comfortable with luxury bathroom and an electric kettle, a study table, and a radio. The staff were accommodating and location was brilliant and absolutely perfect.

Make sure you stay in the double room with a tv. Its location is brilliant and unbeatable, near to Brae Lea House as well as both the Lochboisdale and Eriskay ferries.

My recent stay at Brae Lea House, Lochboisdale, South Uist was absolutely wonderful. Rupert, the host, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. He provided us with a detailed booklet about the area and suggested activities, which was extremely useful. The double room we stayed in was comfortable and spacious, with a lovely shower and a super comfy bed. Rupert even prepared a delicious breakfast for us to take on our early morning ferry ride. Despite the stressful circumstances of our journey, we had an enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend Brae Lea House.

The hotel had a central setting in the area or looking for somewhere to base yourself to explore the island. Besides, it was near very early ferry, local facilities-and wild bird life in the Hebrides, and pubs.
